Here is a sign I made my dad for Christmas. It has a picture of a beer on it, and says “The Thompson House, the 4 o’clock rule.

I started this sign from a drawing and then transfered it to the wooden sign panel. Overall I am very satisfied with how this sign turned out with the exception that I did get a lot of paint on the wood. But I covered it up the same colour as the pannel.
Here is the finished panel
For the lettering I used Phatlo Blue, Raw Umber, Burnt Sienna, Sap Green, and Quinacrodone Magenta. I did like a neat irridecent sheen on the lettering. I also did a lot of transparent glazes on the beer which I feel turned out well.
Very good, Shawn. If they hang it outside, you’ll get people stopping off thinking they’ll be able to get a pie and a pint at the house. Might be a new sideline.
