Here are some photos of Cardinals, most of these were taken in November 2020, but 1 shot was also taken in 2009. Male Cardinals are the brightest birds around, especially in the fall and winter, and often stand out in the snow, although the Female Cardinals are a duller brown, they are still very beautiful birds themselves.

Thank you, Shawn. We may have corresponded about cardinals before. After decades in the American Midwest, I find it odd to live here in southern California, without cardinals. State bird of my home state (Ohio). I always enjoyed catching a look at one when travel took me north or east. Please appreciate them on my behalf. Great shots. And a Happy New Year.
